"All Aboard!" for the New Board!

The newly-elected SPAS Alumni Association officers for 2011-2012 kicked off their term with an afternoon get-together entitled “All Aboard!”  It was held last April 2, 2011 at Carol’s Texan 5 Restaurant, a Chicken and Ribs place in San Juan City owned by an alumna. 

Over twenty batch representatives attended the event who listened to the activities presentation of the current officers led by President Rolinda Laurel-Uy ’89.  Activities that were laid out include sports and social events, an eco-awareness campaign and a community outreach. 

After the presentation, the floor was opened for the reps’ comments and suggestions.  Several ideas were given on how to hold this term’s activities and get more alumni involved. The afternoon was capped off with a merienda buffet and raffle prizes donated by past and present officers. 

The new board is counting on their fellow alumni for the success of the association’s activities.
